Welcome to the Middle Tennessee
Inter-Agency Adoption Coalition Website
The Inter-Agency Adoption Coalition, founded in 1985, is a group of adoption agencies, adoption support organizations, adoption attorneys and adoption professionals in the Middle Tennessee area. The Coalition or IAC is committed to the following goals:
- To strive continuously to improve delivery of adoption services.
- To inform the community about adoption.
- To advocate in all areas concerning the adoption process and members of the Triad, including the adoptee, the birth parent and the adoptive parent.
The Coalition serves all members of the Triad and supports all different types of adoptions, including domestic, international, agency, independent, related-person and special needs. The Coalition is dedicated to ensure that all adoptions are handled in a professional and caring manner.
